Soo Hong was born in Seoul, South Korea. At 10 years old, her family legally immigrated to the United States in search of a better life and the American Dream. She learned English with the help of amazing teachers who volunteered after school at Powers Ferry Elementary and went on to graduate from Georgia Tech and then Mercer Law School.
Now, she runs a successful legal practice with with offices in Gwinnett and Marietta. Now, she is on a mission to make sure others like her have the same access to opportunity as she did.
As your state representative, Soo is working hard each day to protect the American Dream by making Georgia safer, stronger, and more prosperous than ever before.
